HAMASHBIR

HAMASHBIR

Interior graphics for Hamashbir department stores, 1968.

In collaboration with Roni Ben-Arzi and interior designers Dora Gad and Arie Noy.

The generic nature of the printed silk-screen components gave store managers flexibility in distributing and placing the products. The shift from figurative to abstract designs prevented the odd occasions when cosmetics’ for instance, were placed under the illustrations of electronic products.
