EXPO 67

EXPO 67

Israeli pavilion at the international Expo in Montreal, 1967.

Israel’s innovative use of water in the predominantly dry climate was the main theme in the central hall of the pavilion. Once the pool in the center of the hall was filled with water thorns turned into colorful flowers.

A kinetic sculpture is reflected in a seven-meter-tall mirror to accentuate the dynamic effect of hydro-engineering.
